Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Sharonne Krausz

Life can bring challenges that leave you feeling anxious, overwhelmed or carrying more than you can manage alone.  Taking time to focus on yourself, together with professional support, can help you feel heard, understood and grounded, while improving your overall well-being.

I’m Sharonne, a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with a warm and down-to-earth approach.  I am passionate about helping adults live life as fully and as well as they can – not perfectly but in a way that makes the most of what life brings.

My focus is on creating a safe, welcoming and confidential space, where you can feel comfortable to speak openly and without judgement.  I work to gain a deep understanding of your unique experiences and how they affect you, whilst helping you to move forward with increased confidence, a deeper understanding of your patterns and relationships and the practical skills to navigate life with greater satisfaction.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and have five years’ experience supporting people with a range of emotional difficulties and personal challenges across diverse clinical and charity settings.

My work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach, which considers how past experience may shape how you feel and respond in the present.  While this underpins my work, I adapt my approach to suit you as an individual.  At the heart of what I offer is a compassionate and client-focused way of working.

NEXT STEPS
You don’t have to have anything worked out to begin.  If you’re thinking of getting support, you are very welcome to get in touch by phone, email or via my website.  I offer a free, 20-minute introductory call where you can ask any questions you may have and see if working together feels right.
